Why your donations matter
The pandemic has been tough for us all and during our periods of closure we did our best to move online and deliver up to 17 classes a week via Zoom. However, as a registered charity we are still struggling to keep our classes and projects
going with participants not coming back in numbers we had hoped. We ask this only of those who can afford it and who
feel able to direct some of their support to Citymoves Dance Agency.
We have a Donate button below, through which you can make a one-off donation. Anything you can give would go a long way to ensuring that Citymoves continues to exist, and continues to deliver the following each year:
Widening participation access to diverse communities across Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland.
Increasing health and wellbeing for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, including our Dance for Parkinson’s programme, Step Forward performance group with additional support needs or our Strive classes for hard to reach groups in diverse communities, to name a few. Read about our Education and Outreach programmes here.
DanceLive festival every October, now in its 18th year, bringing companies and audiences to Aberdeen.
Nurturing emerging and established professional dance artists, through mentoring, studio space and teaching opportunities.
Developing the Scottish professional dance sector with over 20 residencies a year. Read about our Professional residencies here.
Providing over 30 affordable dance weekly courses, drop-ins and workshops covering a range of different dance styles. View our current class timetable here.
If you would like to set up a regular monthly payment, no matter how small, please contact the office
We appreciate every donation that comes in and every pound is put to good use in rebuilding our community for the future.
