Sponsorship & Corporate Support
How your organisation can support Citymoves
The pandemic has been tough for us all and during our periods of closure we did our best to move online and deliver up to 17 classes a week via Zoom. However, as a registered charity we are still struggling to keep our classes and projects going with participants not coming back in numbers we had hoped. We ask this only of those who can afford it and who feel able to direct some of their support to Citymoves Dance Agency.
We are actively looking for sponsorship for the following projects and parts of our core programme. Citymoves Dance Agency is committed to working with sponsors locally and nationally to support arts and culture, health and wellbeing and community projects in Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland.
How your organisation can support:
Help us to continue being a cultural hub in Aberdeen by advertising on our website and in our building for our core programme of over 30 community classes
Provide opportunities for local performance groups by advertising in our annual Spring Showcase programmes and online promotions (late March/early April)
Maintain cultural festivals bringing visitors to Aberdeen by advertising in our annual DanceLive festival programmes and online promotions (mid-October)
Provide opportunities for movement to enhance life limiting illnesses by sponsoring one of our Health and Wellbeing programmes, for example Dance for Parkinsons, Horizon’s integrated youth group, Step Forward performance group for adults with additional support needs or creative movement classes for those with carers. Be there for those young people who need it by sponsoring our Strive programme which targets hard to reach young people in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire
Develop talent by sponsoring our residency programme, which supports over 20 Scottish dance artists and companies who use our studios annually
