Creating Professional Opportunities

Citymoves is committed to fostering the talent of early career dance and third sector professionals through our Professional Pathways Programmes, which include internships, volunteer programmes, and networking opportunities.

As well as opportunities for Dance Artists to hone their craft and explore the art form, creating new works through Residencies, and offering a rotating schedule of free classes and workshops designed for dancers who want to develop technical skills and work in the guest tutor's unique style.

Youth Dance Artist Programme

Our Horizons group hosts our Youth Dance Artists Programme, wherein young people who are interested in enhancing their teaching and choreographic skills, are offered training and opportunities to develop their leadership skills.

Citymoves' Youth Dance Artists programme is one of many pre-professional opportunities that work with our participants to strengthen Professional Pathways for Dance Artists in the North East of Scotland.
